Asclepias tuberosa (BUTTERFLY MILKWEED)

Butterfly milkweed is one of our favorites. It’s an all-around winner—great eye candy for the garden and a superb pollinator-friendly addition to any landscape. It thrives in full sun and seems to be relatively unfinicky about soil type, as long as it is not saturated.
