Calcined clay is commonly used as a sports field conditioner, but it is an excellent component of many specialty growing mixes. Our premium calcined clay is in the 1/8″ – 1/4″ range, the perfect size for growing and potting applications.
Calcined clay is made by firing clay at a extremely high temperatures. The resulting product has the unique capacity to provide aeration and hold moisture and nutrients. We offer this pre-sifted product that eliminates the dust and fine particles that dominate inferior mixes.
