We are very excited to list this seldom-offered wild honeysuckle. It’s one of our few native honeysuckles and a delightful one at that. It’s a short-statured climber that sports bright red flowers in May, followed by red berries. It grows in a range of habitats from dry savannas to swamp borders and fens, but we find it most often in mesic woods where it rambles over fallen logs and through the branches of shrubs and understory trees.
This year we’re offering vigorous, first-year seedlings. We have only a short supply, so don’t wait to order!
