Partridge berry is a delightful diminutive ground cover that never fails to please. It is an uncommon species that tends to like wet to mesic sandy soil. We’ve seen in growing in the high dunes, too, in areas exposed to cooling breezes. Like wintergreen, it has tiny white flowers followed by red berries, but it is grown primarily as a foliage plant with leaves about the size of your smallest fingernail. This species is seldom offered in the trade.
We are offering small divisions in 3.5″ pots. They have been on their own for a year or more.
